The Flea Market has come
We had 16 children out this morning. My lesson was the Currency of Heaven, 1 Peter 1:18-19.
Shirley and the grandchildren came up to visit Murray in the afternoon and they spent the time at Northport Beach.
I had a lettuce and roast beef sandwich for lunch coupled with a bowl of chowder that Mrs. Stewart provided after the Children's Meeting. Afterwards, I finished prepping for tomorrow's lesson, then caught up with e-mails, called my sister Laura at home, and prepared for the evening Gospel Meeting.
I had hotdogs, brown bread, and lettuce for dinner.
The flea Market has begun to setup with trailers and tables around the tent. Murray knew about this when he got permission to use the site from the man. The flea market runs from Friday - Saturday afternoon. We will be moving to the hall for Friday night's meeting and for the morning Children's Meetings.
Given all the commotion around the tent as people were setting up shop, we were pleased with the larger audience to hear the Gospel. Prior to the meeting, Murray took the opportunity to talk to all the vendors and give them Gospel tracts and an invitation to the meetings. Inside the tent, we had 50+ people out which was encouraging. No one saved yet, but we keep plugging along.
Following the meeting, Brian Wood's family, Janesta Hunt and I went to the McDonald's for sundaes. Lydia, Chloe, and Janesta really like the VW Beetle I'm driving so I let Lydia drive us there. You'll see the pictures.
Doris Taylor has been released from the hospital and is resting at home which is good news. Esther, Murray's sister seems to have come through that thyroid cancer operation successfully and is awaiting test results.
