A little bit of shopping
Murray flew off to Boston early this morning to transport people to and from Canada for his sons' business. (He was back by meeting time and may have visited a few homes also as he is apt to do.) I went door-to-door with the few invitations that I had left before going back to Amherst to buy groceries and another belt.
My only belt that I wore out to NS, just broke. I think I bought it from Zellers in Vancouver in 2002. After checking out Zellers, I finally settled for one from Walmart.
Bought gas at SuperStore before going in to buy groceries: sliced ham, eggs, 2% milk, and 3 apples. This should last me for a few days.
Came home, had soup for lunch with WW bread. In the afternoon, I prepared for meeting and worked briefly on this blog.
For dinner/supper I had a ham and lettuce sandwich before heading off to meeting.
Just before the Gospel Meeting, there was a sudden downpour that lasted ~15 minutes and then it was gone. As I was driving out to the tent, I noticed a lovely rainbow which should remind us of God's love and promise never to send a flood upon sinful, fallen man. There was a smaller turnout at the tent tonight than previous nights, maybe 20-25 people.
