Time to relax and recharge

A few days ago, Terry Hunt asked me to speak a word in the Gospel at their Sunday School picnic at Wentworth Park today. I agreed hoping that it would also give me an opportunity to fellowship with the Tatamagouche saints. It was good to see them all again and I hope to break bread with them on a future Lord's Day morning.

Brian Wood drove me to the picnic along with his family. Given that this weekend marks the end of his 2-week vacation, he was kind enough to drive me around sight-seeing after my message to the children and parents.

We went to a Dutch cheese factory, hiked to Economy Falls, and drove to the dock in scenic Parrsboro to see the beauty and tidal power of the Bay of Fundy. It was truly a wonderful, relaxing late afternoon, early evening experience. I took lots of pictures (some panoramic) and will upload the highlights soon.

Along for the drive were the Woods: Brian, Brenda, Chloe, Ben, Joanna, Josiah, and Isaac. Lydia had to work which was too bad. Kent and Rebekah Scott also came along for the ride in their new Saturn car. A good time was had by all!

Tomorrow, I hope to break bread with the saints in the Pugwash Junction assembly.
